Men’s Ministry “FORGE”
Women’s Ministry
Summer VBS
Sunday School for all ages
Weekly prayer groups
Camps: Our church actively participates as volunteers, coordinators and attendees at Beulahland Christian Camp and Village Creek Bible Camp throughout the year
Sunday school
9:00 AM from September - May
Join us for Sunday School as we journey through scripture together as a church family and see how the Bible is one continuous story about the saving grace of Jesus Christ in the Gospels. The amazing story of Jesus doesn’t begin in Matthew … it begins in Genesis!
Our programs foster growth in the Word through shared learning across all ages. Classes are available from pre-K through adults. Nursery is available during this time.
Small Groups
Small groups are a vital part of our church. We strive to be a family here at First Baptist and have meaningful relationships where we encourage one another to know God through his word and glorify him with our lives.
Awana Clubs
Wednesdays STarting September 9, 2026 | 6:30-8:00 PM
Awana Clubs gives children the opportunity to know, love and serve Jesus through the memorization of scripture and application lessons. Children have an opportunity to fellowship and have fun while learning God’s word together. Questions? Contact fbc@elginfirstbaptist.org.
Awana Clubs is an organization built on a “3B ministry philosophy of child discipleship: Belong, Believe, Become. Children build spiritual resilience when they feel they belong to Jesus, when they believe in the truth of the Bible and then become disciplemakers in their own right.”

4:12 Collective Youth Ministry
Wednesdays STarting September 9, 2026 | 6:45-8:00 PM
“Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12
The purpose of the 4:12 Collective is to intentionally disciple the next generation through the teaching of God’s word and provide spiritually formative activities that equip and encourage youth to raise up disciples and spiritual leaders for the next generation.
4:12 meets regularly on Wednesday nights from 6:45-8:00 PM throughout the academic year (September- May). Additional events, socials, service, leadership, and mission opportunities will be provided throughout the year.
